- A practical and honest conversation where business leaders can openly discuss where trust issues are impacting on successful strategy implementation (whether at an organisational, leadership or team level).
- An opportunity for the executive team to resolve trust issues within the group (no matter how small) and start increasing unity and alignment of interests.
- Having someone external to flag and uncover issues. It also tests the calibre of the executive team and provides the CEO or HR Director with an external opinion as to whether an executive team member is a team player.
The outcome is the roundtable actually identifies the symptoms of distrust and ways to address it, rather than an ineffective focus on systemic root causes.
